The summer has come and gone! I can't believe I still don't have use of my own computer...my mom refuses to add service to the house and I am just letting it go to keep the peace. So here I sit in her bedroom on her computer while she is reading in the other room.
Living with my parents in the far side of Ramona has it's down times...the kids are still sharing a room and it makes bed time hard on them (and me), now that Eric is in school my commute to work takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, I can never find something when I need it because most of my belongings are in storage, I don't get to watch what I want on TV unless I am in my room (most of the time the kids are using my TV to watch thier shows), and the worst part is my parents are both messy people and I feel like I am a live in maid for them as well as my own messy children and husband.
Still, I am trying to focus on the positives to get through until we can move out. I get along with my parents well so we never argue about anything and Eric loves how his grandpa spoils him. Also, I would rather live in this gorgeous house and save money to have a better future than be poor forever trying to pay off our debts by ourselves. My goal in the spring was to be ready to move out in September, but that goal has changed to January. My big problem is that I want to be able to buy something and saving for a down payment is harder than I though it would be.
I have been a complete shut in for the last two months, and I want to apologize to all my friends for being so antisocial, I really do think about all of you all the time, I just am bad at getting on the phone. I hope this slight depression lifts now that school has started and the hours with my job are secure. So enough about my sad story, I know it will all work out.
Katie is growing so tall and her hair is finally coming in so she looks like she could be a small 5 year old even though she is only 3 1/2. It is hillarious when I drop her off at nursery at church, she towers a good 4-6 inches over all the other kids in the room. Katie is now going to Shauna's daycare while I am at work from 8-2 and loves all of the toys and friends she is making there.
Eric started 3rd grade with Mrs. Bowcott last Thursday. He likes being back at school and I think he has a better appreciation for his friends since he was secluded all summer in Ramona with me and Katie. We spent most of the summer playing Wii games, swimming every other day at the huge community pool in the estates, and playing lots of baseball with Eric. I swear the boy is obsessed, he practices pitching every day and we do lots of catching practice too. We watched every Padre game on TV and went to a couple of games downtown.
That's all I can think of for now. I will try to get in touch with all of you soon.
Love,
Sandy
