A's win!
Eric's baseball team won another game yesterday! It was a little sad in a way. His team is now 2 wins-6 losses and we won again against the same team we beat the first time. So out of the whole league we can only seem to beat one team? Oh well, maybe this will give them the confidence to win again. It was a great game for both teams. 12 more games to go...

Baseball
I never realized that signing Eric up for rookies baseball this year would take over our lives so much. There are two games a week and a practice, plus all the playing catch and batting practice at home. Sadly, Eric's team has only won one game in the last few weeks, hopefully they get a win today. I haven't taken as many pictures as I should considering how many times we've been at the park watching the games so I'll have to post the ones I have.

Of course, one of the best parts for Eric is getting to buy something from the snack bar after every game. The best part for me is having Jon Wetzker and Alec Waldvogel on the same team all together. Having friends on the team made it easier for Eric to get into the routine and having adult friends of my own to talk to at every game makes the hours go by quickly too. :)Teddy Bear Picnic
Katie decided to have a picnic with her baby bear. She layed out her blanket and brought her baby bear out in the stroller to share her popcorn snack, they were out there for almost an hour playing in the backyard. She is such a sweet little mommy sometimes.

Waiting
It's Wednesday and I have not had one call this week about job opportunities, and I am starting to get impatient. I don't think I would care so much if my bank balance wasn't so desperate.
I really love staying at home full time with Katie and being around in the afternoons to pick up Eric and do homework, baseball practices, cub scouts, PTA stuff, etc. I am beginning to wonder how I can ever be happy going back to work when I now know what I will be missing out on.
Unfortunately though, I can't live in my house for free and I have too much debt to pay off still. Something has to change, but I can't figure out my next step yet. Moving seems the most likely. :(
All I really know is that I wish I had found the church a few years earlier so I could have had the counsel of the prophets. It seems so logical now...live within your means...what a profoundly simple idea! Too bad I was corrupted by societies idea of a successful lifestyle and now have to struggle to free my family from the control of our debts.
OK, enough complaints. I am stressed but I am also more happy than I have been in my whole life. I realized last night at the RS birthday dinner how much I appreciate all the wonderful people in my life and how much having an eternal perspective really makes everything alright.
